Package Itinerary
Day 1
Upon your arrival at Madurai Airport or Madurai Train Station in the morning/afternoon, you will be greeted by our local travel representative. Embark on a road trip from Madurai to Kodaikanal which takes about 3 hours. This scenic drive via private transfer allows you to take in wonderful vistas of rolling hills and waterfalls along the way. Check into your hotel in the evening and freshen up. Take the remainder of your day explore the hill station at your own pace. Return to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 2
After breakfast, You will go for full day sightseeing of Coorg.
Coorg is located in the western ghats of the Sahyadri mountains of Karnataka.
It is also called as the “Scotland of India” and the “Kashmir of Karnataka” of Coorg. It is famous for lush greenery, rich flora and fauna.
You will explore Omkareshwar Temple, Abbey Falls, MadiKeri Fort, Dubare Elephant Camp, Golden Temple and Honnamana Kere Lake. After visiting these places back to your hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 3
Enjoy the first meal of the day at your hotel in Kodaikanal. Check out of your hotel and drive back to Madurai. Hunt for souvenirs at handicraft shops, pick up Sungudi sarees or cotton fabrics, and stone carvings from the popular town market and near Meenakshi Temple in Madurai. Your Kodaikanal tour package culminates here and you will be dropped at the airport or the railway station in Madurai as per departure timings. Bid Tamil Nadu goodbye with wonderful memories.
